Our Story
When the enterprising young professional Tomohisa Kato visited the Philippines, he saw an untapped growth opportunity for Filipinos in this country. He noticed that a lot of Filipinos are good English speakers yet not all of them have the chance to put their linguistic abilities to good use.
Guided by his mission to make English a universally spoken language in Japan, Kato-san harnessed the power of the Internet and founded RareJob in 2007, giving Filipinos the chance to share their English knowledge to more Japanese.
Through the efforts of its small-numbered yet strong-willed founding staff members, RareJob became the fastest growing online English school.
