Philippine Pop or “P-pop” has been making waves all over the country and even worldwide in the last 4 years. SB19, a P-pop all-male band made its way to the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart with their song, “Gento,” which now has a whopping 42 million views on YouTube, as of this writing!

REFLECT IN THE SALAMIN!:

This achievement makes us reflect on how much Filipinos will always rise above, thrive, and soar higher to bring pride to the country, especially, when it comes to talent in popular music! Speaking of “reflect,” I’m sure you can’t help but think of BINI, an all-girl P-pop group, whose sensation has been felt everywhere nowadays! Following their latest hits released last summer, “Pantropiko” and “Salamin Salamin,” a new single will be launched on July 11, called, “Cherry On Top.” Are you excited? We are, too!

THUS, THE BINIVERSE WAS FORMED!:

The young girl group was formed by seasoned talent genius, ABS-CBN’s Head of TV Production and Executive Producer of Pinoy Big Brother, Laurenti Dyogi. In 2020, Star Hunt Academy held a comprehensive audition and training program. The search sought to develop outstanding individuals into versatile stage performers prepared for the entertainment industry.

After meeting 250 aspirants and months of rigorous training, the final members, Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena, were picked to form the group BINI, which officially debuted in 2021, now turning heads and breaking records. Even TikTok users go viral for covering the choreography of their music.

BINIBINI:

“BINI” was coined from the Tagalog word “binibini,” which is translated as “young lady.” The group imagined themselves as a representation of the qualities of a modern Filipina – sweet, fierce, independent, and informed.

TO ALL THE BLOOMS OUT THERE:

How well do you know BINI? Here is a list of trivia about the fabulous all-Filipina bubblegum pop group:

Successfully, BINI performed their first-ever solo concert last June 28-30, 2024, at the Araneta Coliseum where around 6,000 Blooms attended. The octet is slated to perform their grand BINIverse concert in October.

JUST LIKE P-POP BANDS:

RareJob loves an international level of impact. That’s why RJ tutors all over the Philippines have been improving lives by teaching English to Japanese students through online ESL classes. Not to mention, tutoring as a flexible side-hustle allows you to earn more if you need funds for your next concert, just like the upcoming BINIverse live event!! An extra income – that’s definitely a cherry on top!
