If you have read my first entry, My First RareJob Year-End Experience, I shared how I can’t wait for what 2017 has in store for me.

So here are some highlights of my first half of 2017 here in RareJob.  First, I was regularized; second, I received my first bonus from RareJob; and lastly, the company outing with the theme: A Trip Back to Childhood!

I was thrilled to receive the email about the company outing. I even answered the attendance confirmation form right away. When the countdown started, there were pre-event games and specialty booths installed at the office’s reception area; all with goodies and fun games from our childhood.

It was a sunny day! All RareJob staff members wore smiles on their faces; just like kids who are excited for Christmas.  We arrived at Enchanted Kingdom earlier than the opening hour, so we took the chance for photo-ops and selfies while waiting in line. We were all under the sun but no one was complaining because we were too excited to spend the day having fun!

The first ride we tried was the Agila Experience. It boasts to be the first and only flying theater in the Philippines. No adrenaline rush here but I was amazed at how beautiful Philippines truly is.

I spent the day with my team. We rode all the EKstreme rides from the Disk-o-Magic, EKstreme Tower, Rio Grande Rapids, Jungle Log Jam, and Space Shuttle. We also tried the amusement park’s original and favorite rides: the Wheel of Fate and Flying Fiesta.

The place where the loudest screaming happened? The Ghostbusters!

I tried some of these rides for the first time and I enjoyed them a lot! The most terrifying ride? The EKstreme Tower! I was shouting but there was no sound coming out.. I definitely want to try it again!

Every ride has its story. Having to do it with my team made it more unforgettable. It really felt like revisiting my childhood again. With this event, I realized that we are not only treated as employees, but as family, too. This is one for the books!  As Enchanted Kingdom says, “The Magic Stays with You.”
